Scrumptious food.and other tidbits. Sunday, December 28, 2008. Sugar, sugar everywhere. These photos are from my Chocolate, Confections and Centerpieces class. This is there final project. They were to use only sugar and pastillage for this particular centerpiece. The theme was "The 12 Days of Christmas." I think they did a pretty great job! I don't visit this page for just a few days and you just take off on me. Great pictures! December 30, 2008 at 9:38 AM. December 30, 2008 at 12:37 PM.

http://ikneadlove.blogspot.com/2012/08/apple-cake.html
Saturday, August 4, 2012. Here is the apple cake recipe I told you about a few weeks ago, and here are the pictures and recipe! I used a bundt cake pan, but you can use any type of cake pan and arrange sliced apples in a fun creative way. This is a very moist but light apple cake. May last only a couple of days unless kept in the fridge. Great way to use up extra apples. 1 1/2 - 2 cups apples-Peeled small dice with a squeeze of lemon juice. In a medium size saute pan add:. 1/2 cup brown sugar.

ikneadlove: June 2012
http://ikneadlove.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 16, 2012. Wow it has been a while! This next picture is the cutting cake that I made for one of my best girls! I had the wonderful opportunity to also be a bridesmaid, but was very excited that she only asked for a cutting cake instead of a full on tier cake for the reception. I love the cake toppers she choose, penguins, best part they actually are salt and pepper shakers! They were very cute and definitely suited the couple. I just couldn't be happier for these two! Ash of all trades.

ikneadlove: Apples!
http://ikneadlove.blogspot.com/2012/07/apples.html
Sunday, July 8, 2012. Apples are in season! My mom has a couple of apple trees at her house and her oldest tree has now produced some good sized apples. So we are now definitely excited to start making wonderful items with the apples. Soft, moist cake with cinnamon and nutmeg with apples baked in on top. Already have a white or yellow cake? Saute apples with sugar, butter, pinch of salt, and touch of cream and there you have caramel apple sauce - great topper for any white, yellow, pound cake.

http://ikneadlove.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 4, 2013. Wow, I can't believe it has been this long since I have posted! I'm always here to help :-). Most important, try to eat clean! Some things to keep in mind, herbs and spices are your friends. They are a great way to cut down salt intake while still adding flavor. Make sure your nuts are salt free, and don't have any extra ingredients. You want to control what you put into your body, this is a great way to do it. Read labels! Oats would be best, but you can use rolled oats. Go for...
