August 28, 2016. Just a quick check-in while I’m feeling the impulse. Blogging from my phone. Not a fan. I mainly wanted to get down the thought I had about this year and back to school, versus last year. This year, so far, feels like my first year learning how to do work/school/parenting (homework, routine, etc) like a grown-up. Putting plans in place. Forming new habits. Recognizing how important it is to take care of myself. The importance of giving grace out with reckless abandon.

January 4, 2016. Today was my first day back to work after the holidays. It was so hard to get myself up and moving this morning! Not nearly as hard as it was last year, though! I’m a maker.
