Wear your lard with pride – lardymtb
https://lardymtb.wordpress.com/2015/06/01/wear-your-lard-with-pride
Never too proud to push. Wear your lard with pride. After a rush of blood to the head I decided to design a Lardy MTB logo and put it on a tee shirt. I then decided to design some other MTB-themed tee shirts and upload those too. I ended up opening a little shop on the Spreadshirt website. They basically print, supply and ship the tee shirts with my designs on them and give me a tiny amount of money for each one someone buys. Wealth, fame and riches are unlikely to follow…. Kirroughtree – lardymtb
https://lardymtb.wordpress.com/test/kirroughtree
Never too proud to push. Kirroughtree is a place I’d read about endlessly before I went there “Best manmade trail in the UK” they said “McMoab”, “Flow”, “OMG! 8221; “Best of the 7 STANES. 8221; and all that. It was the place I was most looking forward to when we planned our trip to Scotland. Friendly, helpful, competent staff found here. McMoab (Not available with a happy meal). The latter part of the trail was great, loads of twisty, swoopy trails that I really was to tired and wet and sore to properly ...

Never too proud to push. For all the downsides to winter riding, there’s days like this to make it worthwhile…. I’ve not ridden for almost two weeks, and despite late August in Sussex doing a passable impression of an Indian Monsoon, it’s been work that’s kept me off the bike. Here’s a quick riding video from earlier in the month. It shows the newly opened and refurbished Genesis trail for those of you who are familiar with Bedgebury. August 31, 2015. Riding a dusty Pig. Perched on the rim of a caldera.

Surrey Hills – lardymtb

Never too proud to push. You don’t have the elevation either, Leith hill is the highest point in the south of England but it’s well under 300m. Holmbury Hill is even smaller but there is a lot of excellent riding packed in to the woods here. The trails can be very hard to find, the best place to start looking is NIRVANA CYCLES. They will sell you a map which will help you find some of the more popular trails. At least 2in of air! Holmbury and Pitch are great bases to just get lost for a day and see what ...

Cannock Chase – lardymtb
https://lardymtb.wordpress.com/test/cannock-chase
Never too proud to push. I’ve only been to Cannock once, it’s a hugely long way from home and it just happened that a friend was meeting some of his friends up there and I had nothing better to do that weekend than drive a 430 mile round trip to ride there. Dog, monkey, whatever, just follow it…. Depends on how much of a trek it is for you to get there, but if you’re nearby with a bike, then it’s well worth a day out. If it were an hours drive or less from me, I’d be there regularly. Too old for this shit.

Shop – lardymtb
https://lardymtb.wordpress.com/shop
Never too proud to push. So, I opened a shop. Http:/ lardymtb.spreadshirt.co.uk/. It’s not exactly reinventing e-commerce, all I did was fiddle about with various Adobe products, find somewhere I could upload some designs and changed a few of the default settings. It’s fantastic, whenever I wear it, I feel ten feet tall. Buy loads of them, they’ll make you ride faster.*. Statement may contain lies. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Trail reviews – lardymtb
https://lardymtb.wordpress.com/test
Never too proud to push. Here are my thoughts and opinions on the riding spots I’ve been to. Some of these reviews are based on years of regular riding over the same trails, some are based on one quick visit. All are based on the experiences of a old enough to know better who prefers eating pies to riding faster/further. Your experiences may vary…. One thought on “ Trail reviews. Dec 19, 2014 at 3:08 pm. Never too proud to push. And not want to have a go. The closest Town to Coed Y Brenin is Dolgellau, it’s got a curry house, a few pubs and a nice view of Snowdon. There are some excellent places to stay in this area, particularly TYN Y GROES. Beer, food, and you can throw a cat from the car park and have it land on one of the trails. If you’re into camping, CAE GWYN FARM. Is very close to Coed Y Brenin and a fantastic place to stay. Rock 'n' roll. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Lake Garda – lardymtb
https://lardymtb.wordpress.com/test/lake-garda
Never too proud to push. The start, and finish of the route. The day started at the bike hire shop where I collected a Canyon Nerve AM. I’d never even heard of Canyon before I picked up this hire bike, but it really was an excellent bike and these things are incredibly good value. If you’re in the market for a full-sus bike, CANYON. Nice view, shame I almost died getting there. There were a lot of people on the mountain, and a number of them were wearing no protection whatsoever, many riders weren’...
