Kevin, Aslyn and Emma Jane. Thursday, May 28, 2009. This past week, Kevin and I have been looking for housing in Provo. Let's just say, we haven't been very productive. Married housing in Provo is ridiculous! You either pay a high amount per month for a decent apartment or you take your chances and pay the not so high rent amount with holes in the wall and bugs! We have been so fustrated the past couple weeks. Someone really needs to re-evaluate approved housing, specially married housing.

Kevin and I were a little depressed a few months ago, when we started thinking about our plans and what we were going to do for Christmas this year. We both knew it was going to be a sad time for us because we were going to be away from both of our families! Christmas is around the conner, and we couldn't be more excited for family, fun and good food!

Kevin, Aslyn and Emma Jane. Thursday, April 7, 2011. So, I know I'm a little late on this. But our lives have been on a roller coaster the last few months. I plan to catch up on our blog but first off, we want everyone to know our baby girl was born on January 19. 2011 at 12:49 am She weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces, and was 20 inches long! We love her so much and are so excited she is finally here! These are a few pictures from the hospital. ENJOY! Emma Jane joined us at 12:49 am Wednesday Jan. 19th, 2011!

Kevin, Aslyn and Emma Jane. Wednesday, January 21, 2009. This past week has not been fun for me. Last Sunday I woke up with a 103 fever and had the worst cough in the world! Yup, that's right everyone. I caught the flu bug again! That night I went to sleep and slept for a little while longer then the first night but still woke up around 3 o'clock not feeling that good. Thursday, April 28, 2011. We had fun gathering together for Thanksgiving 2010. The Schaffners came down from Utah and Lloyd and I flew down from Portland and of course Nick and Lindey and Reed and Megan's families had just moved to the area that year. We missed Katie's family and Rebecca's and Jim's! Our (Lloyd and Annette's) first house. Nick and Lindsey were kind enough to drive us over to the other side of Phoenix to check it out. It was built in 1975. We were so proud of it! Better Late than Never?

Thursday, December 31, 2009. This Christmas, I had the idea to rent Chuck's Cove to save myself cooking all day and to have a place where we could all be together and have fun. Reed and Megan and family came down for the day and the rest of us spent Christmas night there and play our banana game well into the night. Can anyone guess who this is? Sunday, February 28, 2010. On February 17, Lloyd and I had the opportunity to go to Yakima Washington to attend a pear ripening seminar. Over the years when Lloyd worked in the banking industry we would attend conferences in New Orleans, New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles. When you are a farmer, I guess that you attend conferences in Yakima! Yakima is in the heart of the central Washington Oregon fruit growing country. The seminar was sponsored by Washington State University.
