Personal stories of trauma and triumph = Resilience! Wednesday, 28 May 2014. As we plow through the waves the sun directs its magic down to light up the mountainous looking ocean. Looking out I see diamonds glistening amongst the deep blue textured water. Looking down I see white foam that creates a path of where we have been but it doesn't last. Since being diagnosed with Adrenal Fatigue over 6 months ago I am still finding it challenging to cope with every day life. Unfortunately there is no quick fix. The test results showed that I was Iodine Deficient so I now have to have iodine drops every day on top of all the other medication. Joy! Just to make life more challenging for me, I have been getting UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) symptoms.

The pain on me is never lost. Body and soul I feel it. The cuts always leave scars. Scars that remind me. I'm still all alone under the stars. Will anyone be part of my world. Or am I singularly destined to be. Can I be loved and accepted. And live with another in harmony. It's killing me little by little. How can I accept me as is.

Personal stories of trauma and triumph = Resilience! Sunday, 25 May 2014. So much has happened, again, since I last wrote. I got my, not so great, test results back from my Doctor. I had another job interview and just heard that I have unofficially got the job. My son had his 18th birthday party. We went on a family vacation to the Montebello Islands. I got the flu. I still have the flu :-(. DOCTOR VISIT and DIAGNOSIS. Prolactin was three times higher than the maximum range. Free Testosterone was low.
