When I agreed to take over for a coworker's shift with my supervisor over the phone, I made the mistake of not checking the rest of the schedule FIRST to see what a complete mess it was. By himself for a whole hour. This wouldn't be such a huge problem except up, 1)today I had to guide him to making a sandwich 2)does he bring a till in?
