Marilyn and Ken: November 2009
http://marilynandken.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 28, 2009. David looks happy. Mmm. Food. Can you tell that Kami is 7 months along? Amazing, isn't it? These pictures are in random order. Here is my kitchen assistant sparing me from the lovely job of peeling potatoes. Everyone looks so somber. I wonder what they were looking at. As usual, I made too much food, but what's Thanksgiving without leftovers? Nice smiles, Tiff and Kyle! We played games after dinner, but I didn't get a picture of that. Monday, November 23, 2009. The pumpkin fa...

Marilyn and Ken: May 2010
http://marilynandken.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 13, 2010. Another trip to see the kids. Yes, I just got home from Colorado. I just. To go see my babies. Last trip I got sick, but this trip everyone was healthy and we had lots of fun. Kimberley loves to draw and color, so I brought her some glitter paper projects. Oliver loves to do anything that everyone else is doing. Look how big Asher looks. Sitting in the window is the closest we got to playing outside. It was cold, windy or wet every day. Banana bread with chocolate chips! I had a g...

Marilyn and Ken: January 2011
http://marilynandken.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 24, 2011. Nothing beats the winter blahs like a trip to the sun. I am home and ready to begin life with a fresh attitude, thanks to friends and family and 9 days of sunshine. Tiff and Kyle are set up in their nice rental home while Kyle works on his Masters degree. Tiff fixed us this amazing lunch. I am now inspired to eat healthy. Thank you Tiffany for being such an inspiration. Farther south we enjoyed a full week of being spoiled at Gary and Beth's house. More sight-seeing in the sun.

Marilyn and Ken: November 2010
http://marilynandken.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 2, 2010. I've just lived through the second annual fall babysitting marathon. Yes, once again Blaine and Michelle left their kids with us while they went on a cruise. It was nine days full of fun for them as well as for us here at home. Every time they come I try to have a few new toys. The kids love to dress up and Kimberley rarely wears real clothes while she is here. The boys get into dress up also. Asher is "going to shoot you" with his laser gun. My favorite dress us item. The day ...

Marilyn and Ken: February 2010
http://marilynandken.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 26, 2010. Happy 29th Birthday to Grant. It's hard to believe, but my baby boy is 29 today. Here he is at age 9 years. This is age 19 years, taken before his mission. I took this picture last night. He's not that willing to be photographed so I have to sneak up on him. Anyway, here is a wish for a great birthday for the world's best son. Thursday, February 18, 2010. My trip to see my babies! Basically, the only picture I got of Michelle. We spent our honemoon at Ken's uncle's cabin in cen...

Marilyn and Ken: July 2011
http://marilynandken.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 22, 2011. Finishing up May, June and July. It seems like the months are really flying by. We finished up May with my birthday. Happy 61 to me! Julie made the most amazing cheese cake for me. She is so nice. I know it was a lot of work and expense. The best part was getting to see the girls. For Memorial Day we went to the pioneer park at the This Is the Place monument. Brigham Young's farm house. Eliza graduated from pre-school. I'm pretty sure she was the smartest kid in her class. Sorry th...

Marilyn and Ken: September 2010
http://marilynandken.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 9, 2010. What a summer it has been. In my next post I will cover our move (yes, we've moved). For now I will just share pics of our trip to Denver for the birth of grandchild # 4. Ken went with me this time and it was so great to have him there. We started off with introducing the kids to silly string. While Blaine and Michelle were at the hospital, Grandad and I took care of the kids. We had snacks in the yard. Played "wishy washy" in the laundry basket. Played in the backyard. Evie ...

Marilyn and Ken: July 2010

Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Never can say good bye. I really don't like the word. Because it has such a finality to it. So I think I'll just say, "See ya later.". Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Happy Fourth of July. Saturday through Monday we went on a little road trip to the north. Our first stop was Tony Grove Lake. It was beautiful and we had a little picnic. On the drive we saw many yellow wild flowers. Our next stop was Bear Lake. Here is a view from the overlook. The walk took us along side a river.

Marilyn and Ken: December 2009
http://marilynandken.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 22, 2009. A Very Merry Retro Christmas. Do you recognize these people? In my fantasy deluded mind, we still look like this. The year was 1987. Ahthe good ol' days. Saturday, December 19, 2009. Joy to the world. The Lord is come, let earth receive her King! We truly have great reason to rejoice! When Jesus was born, the angels sang. What did they know that caused them to want to sing? They knew that because of Christ the world would not be lost. I wish you all a very joyous Christmas.

Marilyn and Ken: April 2010
http://marilynandken.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 26, 2010. It's always sad when a loved one passes away. Ken has been feeling a bit down, lately. But, it is wonderful when that loved one lived a good life and always kept their covenants. This is the case with Ken's mom. She lived a long life and always dedicated her time to the Lord and her family. We know she is with Grandpa now and is loving it. The best part about a funeral is that it is a great family reunion. Phyllis, Devon and Ken. Tammy with Kathy and Mike and their two girls.
