PHOTOGRAPHS BY RON OLIVER. This website contains some of the photographs from Ron Oliver's project, “Children and Textures”. The idea came from his childhood friendship with some residents of a small village in Northern Italy where they and their friends have a history going back hundreds of years. The concept is to portray a link between past and present using the old pebbled pathways, stone walls and wooden doors of the village as a backdrop for the studies of children and teenagers who live there.
