Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Skate and Trampoline Day. Today Rooms 7, 8 and 9 went for a day out of the class, to the Dialed Indoors Skate and Tramp Park. Here is our PMI for the day. Sunday, March 22, 2015. Yay, today is the first day of EOTC week! Today, St Brendan's School went to Harcourt Park for a school picnic! We went on the bike track, we went in the playground and we played heaps of games. We had a fantastic time! Some people even made a campfire and some people played jackpot. Thursday, March 5, 2015. Some outstanding Rippa Rugby! Some of the kids from Room 7 went out this week for the Year 3 and 4 Rippa Rugby tournament. There were 2 teams. One of them worked really hard and improved with every game. A girl from our class, Maddi, won player of the day for that team! The other team, won every game until the final, when they won that too! They were the winners for their grade. Well done to all the Rippa Rugby kids and Thank You to all the awesome parent helpers.

We had the team building day, school picnic,indoor skate and tramp park day, science day and swimming sports.We had lots of races and lots of fun. Last week when we had swimming sports. The Wonderful Room 7. And all our amazing learning so far. After weeks of practising at home we had our class poetry competition. All the students remembered their lines and were able to stand in front of our guest judge Jeanie and say their poem. Everyone did a wonderful job using clear voices, expression and some gestures. Well done to Emily, Evie and Keegan for being our our class winners. Watch the video below and help us learn all the words! He also came into our class and wrote some poems with us.

Friday, 14 August 2015. Zentangles and Starry Night. I am particularly proud of some of the recent art work in Room 7. The students have created their own van Gogh Starry Night painting. Their WALT ( We are learning to goal ) was to use a variety of brush strokes to achieve movement in the painting as Van Gogh had done.
