Proceeds from all sales are used to support the restoration and maintenance of the house, outlying buildings, and grounds. The Shops at The Rose Victorian. Located on the property after Dr. Osborne’s time was a clothing store and a penny candy store, first operated by Ruth and Howard Sherman – Ruth was a daughter of the doctor and Mattie. These unique shops are now a volunteer run property of the Dennis Historical Society, Inc. (A Not for Profit 501(c)(3) Corporation).
