I love working in downtown Austin. Very cool area, great places to eat, lots of events and activities, and of course the always interesting street folk to spice things up a bit. But, eventually (after 18 years) I got tired of working in the office. Not to mention rent almost doubled and all the sudden everyone wants a 3 year minimum lease. I have a hard time figuring out what I'll need in a year, much less 3 years.

Friday, October 5, 2012. My dance calling legs are getting stronger, not so wobbly anymore. Which is a good thing because I have several square dances to call in the near future. And not just small party dances, but three hour long sets with upwards of ten squares (that's 80 people! Or at least, most of them worked. Ok, more like, half of them.
