Año Afuera: Mango Rain
http://aafuera.blogspot.com/2011/03/mango-rain.html
A year to grow around the world. Thursday, March 17, 2011. Lovin' Laos - non-stop fun with our mates from Melbourne. Plans for a big breakfast and final day with our Aussie friends came to a screeching halt this morning. A steady rain greeted me as I stepped onto our porch, overlooking a Mekong River that's shrunk into it's deep banks over the last few months of dry season in Laos. We haven't seen a good rain like this since we left Indonesia two weeks ago. Vang Vieng - adventure tubing mecca of the world.

Año Afuera: Our Last Week in Sukadana
http://aafuera.blogspot.com/2011/02/our-last-week-in-sukadana.html
A year to grow around the world. Friday, February 18, 2011. Our Last Week in Sukadana. Our mixed emotions in leaving Sukadana were eclipsed by the excitement of taking one last hike through the forest and sharing smiles and laughter with our friends. Disappearing into the forest and leaving the hot farming valley behind. We weren’t sure that we’d ever get deep enough into Gulung Palung National Park to see its true beauty. Jacquelyn and Roberto, contemplating a swim. From a lookout at the top, we could s...

Trauma Mama: April 2011
http://ertraumamama.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Tales of a Foodie ER Resident. Sunday, April 3, 2011. How freakin' adorable is this street? The homes are beautiful and the area is safe; both of which can be difficult to find in Wilmington. I would also be a 10 minute walk from one hospital, and a 10 minute drive to the other. Keep your fingers crossed for us! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Trauma Mama: Tea Parties
http://ertraumamama.blogspot.com/2011/09/tea-parties.html
Tales of a Foodie ER Resident. Friday, September 2, 2011. Breakfast this morning was nice because it's starting to get cooler around here which means one thing.oatmeal for breakfast! I realize that I can eat oats any time of the year, but I think they're much more appealing when it's cold outside. During the warmer months I prefer cold overnight oats or smoothies. This morning's oats were a delicious combination of homemade coconut butter, dark chocolate chips, and cashew butter. So freakin' good! View m...

Trauma Mama: Beer Tasting
http://ertraumamama.blogspot.com/2011/09/beer-tasting.html
Tales of a Foodie ER Resident. Sunday, September 4, 2011. Salad, grilled bread, sweet potatoes, and portobella mushrooms. Andy made some killer ribs for the carnivores that he smoked on the new attachment. And no, we didn't taste all of them. As a matter of fact we had drank a couple Sam Adam's Octoberfest beers, and only tasted a few of these new ones. We already knew the taste of Sam and Dogfish Head so there was no point in tasting those. Be on the lookout for more beer tasting posts because Courtney ...

Trauma Mama: January 2011
http://ertraumamama.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Tales of a Foodie ER Resident. Sunday, January 30, 2011. To Match Day that is. Promise that I won't make every post a countdown, but it's pretty darn exciting. This was my awesome drive home the other day from my interview at U of Maryland. The snowstorm of the century. This is what the interstate looked like. I was stuck in one spot on the interstate for 5 hours! I finally made it to Morgantown where I spent the night. Bunsen was totally ready for the snowstorm. My awesome new haircut. So I visited my f...
