July | 2012 | Running with Squirrels

https://runningwithsquirrels.wordpress.com/2012/07

Fostering dogs that need it most. Archive for the month “July, 2012”. McMuffin here to tell you that our mom just gave us the BEST surprise everrrrr! So she walks in from the grocery store with her packages as usual and she looked at us with a big smile. Reese leaned over and told me that mom had some special treats for us so we scooted up the stairs sniffing her packages. We thought … what the heck is a bully stick … but man did it smell gooooood! Over me like a turkey vulture. We ran to Home Depot and ...

Response from State Delegate Ben Kramer | Running with Squirrels

https://runningwithsquirrels.wordpress.com/2013/04/16/response-from-state-delegate-ben-kramer

Fostering dogs that need it most. Response from State Delegate Ben Kramer. Below is an email that I received from State Delegate Ben Kramer in response to the dog bite law that was recently left unresolved by the Maryland General Assembly. Attached to the email were two documents, pasted below. The first appears to be a position piece and the second is a letter from Del. Kramer to Governor Martin O’Malley. Fingers crossed for meaningful progress. There is no question that the Maryland Court of Appeals op...

Fostering dogs that need it most. And we’re back! We apologize for being MIA over the past month or so … we’ve been super busy here at the Ranch. We’re looking forward to blogging again more regularly this summer and to catching everyone up with the adventures of Reese and Muffin. Here are a few things that have happened since we last blogged:. 1 We attended Hon Fest. With Jasmine’s House. This sweet puppy came over to cool off in the baby pool and made a furry friend. In Cumberland, Maryland. This i...

Current Foster | Running with Squirrels

https://runningwithsquirrels.wordpress.com/current-foster

Fostering dogs that need it most. Hi friends, my name is McMuffin! I’m a 6 year old (born November 24, 2005) girl that is spayed, completely housebroken, quiet, loving, and incredibly well behaved. My previous family had to move and couldn’t take me with them, but lucky for me the nice people at Jasmine’s House found a foster home where I can stay until I find my new forever family. I especially love it if you let me listen to soothing music while you are gone. I am an expert at playing with toys and lov...

So she walks in from the grocery store with her packages as usual and she looked at us with a big smile. Reese leaned over and told me that mom had some special treats for us so we scooted up the stairs sniffing her packages. Then … as soon as all those useless groceries were put in that cold box she reached in the bag and took out 2 brand new bully sticks just for us! Newer Entry →. Leave a ...

Ventures into fosterhood and how we learned to love crate training. Local Fosters & Adopters. Home project: crochet wreath. May 9, 2015. Gettysburg is much like the rest of Central PA, yet very different. For me, hearing “Gettysburg” makes me think of a variety of things. Part of Route 30 that is typically well below the speed limit. Traffic to be avoided during bike week and reenactment week. Parking meters and the traffic circle at the square (both uncommon in the region). The Land of Little Horses.

Love and a Six-Foot Leash. One family's adventures with America's forgotten dogs. From time to time, we get questions about camera gear, photography techinques, or photo tips and tricks. Here is where you will find our most useful bits of the very limited wisdom that we have collected over the years in photo classes and practice. We are envisioning a trilogy of short essays, but can’t promise. Check back in coming weeks as we add more bits and pieces. 1 Composition and basics. February 18, 2011 at 1:03 pm.

Ventures into fosterhood and how we learned to love crate training. Local Fosters & Adopters. Rusty is a joyful, medium sized, short legged. One-year-old brindle black and tan who has been with us since November 2011. His breed mix probably includes some corgi, dachshund or other long bodied breed. But is making good progress. Squirrels and other thoughts

Squirrels and other thoughts. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Salt Lake City Spartan. Where to start. This was the longest, hottest, mot grueling thing I have ever done. Going into this race I wasn't feeling 100% but I thought it would be a mind over matter situation. I believe we are capable of so much more then we allow ourselves to believe. Also, I was forced into sitting for about 10 minutes and eating some shot blocks and drinking some water. It helped to relieve most of the dizziness. My most dreaded obstacle.

124; Comments RSS. The next new diet fad – the Satisfied Diet. Posted on August 26, 2011. I was inspired to write this post as coming to a cross-roads on exactly what is the right way to go about dieting the body. During all of my time keeping the weight off and yo-yo-ing, I’ve come to settle on either calorie counting or atkins/paleo diets. Each diet has a clear-cut line on what you can eat, and what you can’t. Though, the diets are very different. For calorie counting, one can eat…whatever! Get to know...
