An Empty Kennel….. | Rust Belt Rebel
https://rustbeltrebel.wordpress.com/2011/11/10/an-empty-kennel
Survival in a dying city. Holding to Promise…. Then there was Three. An Empty Kennel…. November 10, 2011. There has been much going on these days. During our stay-cation we did over 18 miles worth of hiking. We learned that GF pizza sucks royal – I can still taste the foulness in my mouth 3 months later. The husband and I have not touched anything that we are not suppose to have since August and at least for me I feel much better. I have lost around 5 lbs due to not eating wheat or sugar. Fill in your de...

Survival in a dying city. Then there was Three. Progress….may….be! January 8, 2012. It has been over 6 weeks…. When I think of his 1st week with us, well, over his 1st week I just shudder. It wasn’t easy, he was not easy. That my friends is okay because we LOVE a challenge. Sound of a hungry, protesting, spoiled dog to this…. Progress….dare I say it. This is meal time now. 6 weeks ago he would have been crazy boy….today he is learning to wait. Just before going for a walk. For those who are wonderingR...

Survival in a dying city. An Empty Kennel…. Progress….may….be! Then there was Three. December 29, 2011. Sorry this is long but as of late my hands have been very full. A long time ago I had a pipe dream. What if, someday, I could get Miss Stella to pass CGC. This would be the same dog that one year ago I sat down with Scott from Versatile K9. Let my dogs prove me wrong. I didn’t blog about the experience – but should have. Miss stella can do. Are you joking lady? The week of Thanksgiving we also started ...

Be it ever so humble. THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME. Saturday, October 24, 2009. Six months go by fast. The second price was right on target, and about $4,300 less. He and his men start Monday. The work has to be done. I can't wait any longer to finish this house. It doesn't need to be rushed, but it needs to be done. No more sitting and waiting on anyone, or myself. We're moving forward from this point on. Also things to be noted:. Wasps love empty houses, especially ones without back walls.
Be it ever so humble...: 5/12 Sheetrock Day 2

Be it ever so humble. THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME. Friday, May 20, 2011. 5/12 Sheetrock Day 2. Day 2 of Sheetrock and walking in the front door I was greeted in the Foyer with this:. A fully Sheetrocked Foyer! And Uhm. This is my roommate, Jon. He wanted to be on my blog. Obviously, he is not a Sheetrock-hanging professional. But he can help you adopt a dog. The small bedroom and closet. All that on Day 2. August 22, 2011 at 8:45 PM. December 25, 2012 at 12:40 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Be it ever so humble. THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME. Friday, May 20, 2011. Ever wonder what 110 pieces of Sheetrock look like? If you spread it out in different rooms, it doesn't look like that much. Each piece is 12' long and 4' wide. It really is quite a lot. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm a first-time homeowner. Rustbelt Rambler
Tuesday, February 14, 2012. So I haven't made a post in a long time, but this one is dedicated to my son Jack's new hat that I made him the other day. One of my more challenging projects, but worth it! The t-shirt is from westmama designs on etsy.com. My goal is to have a line of children's hats produced in the midwest so stay tuned! I just made teensy hat for baby Donovan's trip home from the hospital. I'm hoping that will be soon, three more weeks to go! Wednesday, September 28, 2011. I have to admit t...

Postponed, Due to Lack of Interest. I tried to bond with the O-Dog today. A little pre-maturely, perhaps. I didn't understand Hannah's biography on Tara Lipinski. Who's Tara Lipinski? A figure skater. Which one's Hannah? The one with short hair and glasses. Oh She's cute. Don't you think she's cute? I don't know. I don't like her. Well, who do you think is the cutest girl in your class, then? Oh, you're not there yet? You don't notice girls. Here's the part that cracked me up inside. Oh look. She's t...

May 3, 2010. 8212; by cborne @ 3:34 pm. I’ve had to put the Rust Belt Reader on hold because I’ve accepted a 12-month project archivist position at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. So in addition to being the managing editor of Cleveland Area History. And working on my own fiction projects, I won’t have much time for critical reading until next spring. February 27, 2010.
