Friday, June 26, 2009. Let the healing begin! On 6/11/2009 I underwent surgery to fix my broken leg. Four hour surgery with seven incisions (2 big, 5 scope holes), seven screws, one plate and a complicated ACL. Fracture wire suture repair. I spent 2 nights and 3 days in the hospital. I just got the bill for the hospital only and it was $21,000! Monday, June 1, 2009. Another addition to the farm. I finally got a goat! It can only get better from here. More Pictures of The Ash-Man. Sunday, May 24, 2009. We had a fun - yet short Memorial Day camping trip this year. It was not planned to be short but it ended up that way because I broke my leg. How, you might ask, did I break my leg? The answer is simple: riding (and wrecking) a dirt bike. Why would I be on a dirt bike? Because I really want to learn to ride one well. This was not my first time on dirt bike, by the way. Where was Asher while all of this action was going on? Out there, I have a tibial spine fracture and a comminuted.

Saturday, October 31, 2009. I have been up and walking now for over a month! It is so nice and the broken leg is slowly becoming a distant memory! Asher was a chicken for Halloween. Asher may look just like Jonny. But he is definitely. I know this because he has a sweet tooth. When I give him real baby food - on numerous occasions - he gags and cries. When I give him Oreos. He eats them up happy as can be! He likes anything that has sugar as a main ingredient! Of my bionic leg. Summer at a glance.

Friday, January 15, 2010. Christmas and a happy crappy birthday.and other things. I took Asher swimming for the first time before Christmas. He loved it and is definitely a water baby! This is he wrinkly, little foot long before he was ready to get out (underwater by the way because my new camera can do that :). Have you ever seen such a cute little guy? Just chilling in the kiddy pool. My mom and sisters came and it was a lot of fun. We had a very merry Christmas. Our little family on Christmas Eve.

Monday, January 12, 2009. In the mean time, we will really enjoy it. We took a four day vacation, over New Years and my birthday, to St. George where we road Sand Hollow and the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. It was a lot of fun and I even got to drive the Razor a little bit when the boys were not having their turns on the new toy! This is me in the new toy with Gator (brother-in-law) in the passenger seat and Sean on the four wheeler (friend). Both of these boys are single if anyone is interested!

Saturday, April 11, 2009. It is 5:oo in the morning and I am sitting up holding my sweet baby who doesn't want to sleep right now. This is possibly because he slept most of the day with me holding him and now laying in his bassinet doesn't sound like any fun. He is usually a good sleeper at night but wants to be held when ever he is awake during the day - or night! He actually tells people Asher sleeps through the night sometimes! This is because he does not always wake up when we do. Pretty funny!

Tuesday, May 18, 2010. We took Asher to get his one year pictures finally. We had to wait a few weeks (which turned into a month) because I cut Asher's hair myself right before his birthday and it was not picture worthy! We let it grow out some and then got it done by Des - which I should have just done in the first place! I think that the pictures turned out so cute and really show his wild personality! We got them done at Target in Riverdale. And walk while steering me where ever he wants to go. 7 Love...
