Hiking on and around the Great Sacandaga Lake
Hiking on and around the Great Sacandaga Lake. Wednesday, April 25, 2012. GPS 43.46722, -74.24689. Take Route 30 North from the town of Wells. Approximately 3 miles up Route 30 there is a right hand turn that leads to a parking area. From Rout 8 - 2 miles each way. If you are bringing small children approach the Falls from the Route 30 side instead as a fall from this side would be perilous. Since originally posted I have had to do some more research and add to the original descriptions.
