It is located approximately 1000 km south of the capital, Muscat, and lies at the mouth of the Gulf of Aden, on the Indian Ocean. Oman is located on the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula. الجمعة، 29 أبريل، 2011. و هي العاصمة الإدارية لمحافظة ظفار. تتميز صلالة بجو استثنائي عن بقية مناطق السلطنة ودول الخليج حيث تنشط السياحة طوال العام. يبدأ الصيف في دول الخليج من شهر يوليو بينما تكتسي جبال ظفار المكونه من: (جبل سمحان، جبال ظفار، جبل القمر) البساط الأخضر وتتغلف قمم تلك الجبال بالضباب الخفيف بينما رذاذ. وتتأثر مدينة صلالة بهذا الطقس الاستثنائي كونها تقع بالقرب من المرتفعات الوسطى لجبال ظفار. الاستوائية التي لها ثمرة تشبه جوز الهند وتباع هناك بكثرة. سؤال يحتاج الى تعليق.
