Thursday, August 30, 2007. Tommy and Helen came for a visit with their mom Judie this afternoon! We got ice cream and walked around Bearskin Neck then went down to the water. It was really good to see them. Tommy is one of the few kids that I've kept up with via email since I left the Boys and Girls Club. Friday, August 31, 2007. Brett came for a visit today which was a big fun surprise, considering I've been asking to come for months! This place isn't very good for people who have recently been in a motorcycle accident. I spent most of the afternoon worrying that he'd trip on a rock or something and bang himself up even more than he already is. Saturday, September 1, 2007. My body has become like clockwork. All I have to do before I go to bed, no matter how late, is make a decision to wake up at 5:30am to watch the sunrise and I will. I hardly got enough sleep last night but it was worth it. I got some cool shots of the moon this morning too.
