The model of therapy that I use is called Transactional Analysis which is a theory of personality and communication. It is based on the beliefs that:. We can all think. We all have the ability to decide what is right for us. Further, the therapy is rooted in the belief that we all have the ability to grow and change. I am also a firm believer in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship and the change that this can bring about.

Therapy can be short term or long term, this is decided between you and me. Sessions can be weekly, twice weekly or fortnightly and are usually at a set time each week - however I can be flexible. They are 50 minutes in length and cost £45. The initial assessment session is free. In the first session we can discuss what has brought you into therapy and what you want to achieve from therapy.

I began my own journey into psychotherapy 12 years ago. I found it so helpful and valuable that I decided to retrain as a psychotherapist myself! The journey was challenging, rewarding. I am a fully qualified psychotherapist and have been working in private practice since 2008. Prior to that I worked in the music industry as a musician, producer and lecturer and I have 17 years experience as a teacher and mentor. I live in Chorlton, South Manchester with my partner and 2 children.
