Saturday, June 18, 2011. We spent much of May outside. We have to take advantage of the good weather while we can before it gets too hot. (As I write this on June 18, the high today is forcasted. Sam enjoyed his first field day at school early in May. Then he had his school carnival. It was the school's biggest fundraiser of the year and Mom was very involved in its planning, etc. It was VERY successful! Ollie and Sam both did 2 weeks of swimming lessons at TCU. Sam is doing GREAT! At Central Market too!

During a trip to Sam's, Brad's mom suggested that we take home three very large pieces of thin cardboard (that were separating the paper towel packages) for the kids to play with. I forget to think about the freebies you can find there. They immediately started their art projects and stayed busy for most of the evening. It’s a showcase of outstanding designs of the past year in 6 categories of architecture, digital,fashion, graphics, product and transport. It will be there until late August and it’s well worth a visit. I won’t get into much details as there’s a very comprehensive website.
