Tuesday, January 13, 2009. It was juuuuustttt right! Bethany came home with "homework" today! It was so cute. They are studying bears this week and were allowed to take a bear to keep at school with them. Today they listened to the story of "The Three Little Bears." Her homework was to re-tell the story to us. She did such a good job. She had a hard time pronouncing "porridge" but remembered the whole story. My mom had the wonderful idea of giving all us siblings, being me, my sister and two stepsisters, popcorn makers and all the makings for a family movie night for Christmas. The CPSIA of 2008 is an act of Congress which was passed in November and goes into effect on February 10, 2009. This law will affect MILLIONS of people in the United States by requiring the test for lead and phthalates in ALL products intended for use by children under the age of 12.
