96 mpg on a Vino 125: April 2012
http://96mpg.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
96 mpg on a Vino 125. This blog is written for my unborn child to show him that his dad is cool, knows how to have fun and was willing to let go of a cherished toy before his birth. Thursday, April 5, 2012. OMG, It's Windy! Boy, wind almost feels like rain! A bit unstable, but I'm sure more stable than my friend's scoots. This Vino 125 rocks! To get more aerodynmic, I scooted my butt back and hunched forward. Not sure if it actually did any good, but it felt better! Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Though I had...

Sunday, May 27, 2012. Sand is worse than I thought. With the high 40 mph winds the past week, there were some road closures due to sand getting all over the lanes. There was one part where the sand was covering parts of the intersection and I had no real choice but to go through it on the scoot. Tuesday, May 22, 2012.

Sunday, June 3, 2012. I just love this thing! 70mpg and free easy parking wherever I go. Who could ask for more? I forgot to bring the gloves this morning and at 5:30am, it definitely gets chilly here in the Bay. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Gasoline: RON vs. MON. Soldiers of the Slab.

Sunday, October 14, 2012. I purposely drive home to pick up my scooter to run an errand only to find that the rear light was on! I had left the key in the ignition with all power running for the past 4 hours! Ugh, I attempt to turn the engine over halfway anticipating that it won't start. To my expectation, it didn't. Pullin' G's: October 2009
http://pullings.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 31, 2009. So, I just placed an order at motorcyclesuperstore.com for a set of boots, cold weather gloves, and a windproof balaclava. I've never had a proper set of cold weather riding gloves. In the past, I have made do with Gore-Tex ski gloves. They don't allow good enough finger and thumb articulation for motorcycle riding though. I'm hoping these are better, as they're motorcycle-specific. Here's to hoping! I'm hoping to get another month of riding in before the snow flies.

Pullin' G's: March 2008
http://pullings.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 25, 2008. Snuck in another ride on Burgertime today. When I got out of work today, it was sunny and 52°F. I had only one thing on the mind. I got home and got Burgertime out and put at least 50 miles on him. I was freezing by the time I got home, it was only 47°F at that time. Now, they're talking about snow again tomorrow night, as well as Thursday and Friday. Crapola. Links to this post. Wednesday, March 19, 2008. A Nice Break from Chicago Winter. Onto the ride. Boy was it ever nice ...

Pullin' G's: February 2010
http://pullings.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 6, 2010. Then, I went for a nice flight into the woods. My buddies took good care of me. Called my wife and the ambulance. It has been a pretty bad couple of months since then. Two more weeks and I can start putting weight on it again. I've been on crutches ever since. (it will have been three months) I now have a metal plate that goes from my ankle to just below my knee. Have fun everyone, and try to keep the rubber side down. It seems to be more fun that way. ;). Links to this post.

Saturday, February 28, 2009. Frigid but short ride today. Well, today my mom and wife have gone shopping, leaving me without a car. I didn't think I'd want to go anywhere, but I decided to go to CVS Pharmacy to finally upload the pix for printing from our trip to Europe last year. Seeing as how it was 27°F, (-3°C) I was pretty cold by the time I got home. Just had some chamomile tea, which helped, but my knees are still cold about an hour later. Links to this post. Sunday, February 8, 2009. I wound up ta...
