Seattle Farmette and Baby. Stuff I'm doing lately. Day 8: Bryce Canyon and drive to Vegas. June 9, 2015. We woke up the next morning, and took a shuttle through Bryce Canyon national Park. We had arrived too late the day before to see the park. It was very chilly! We ate lunch together, then John and just had to head home to California. Mom Isaac Florence and I made our way to Vegas. It was a four and a half hour drive…. Strawberries and Cheetos for the baby. Awful But we finally made it to Vegas! House ...

Seattle Farmette and Baby. Stuff I'm doing lately. Day 7: drive to Bryce Canyon. June 9, 2015. We woke up and set off early, towards our next stop on the trip. Bryce Canyon national Park. Here are Florence and I, during a nursing break on the side of the road. So happy to be out of her car seat! We finally arrived at the hotel! The sink made a perfect little seat for Florence. Our hotel had a huge gift shop. I loved these rugs. Only $4500 each. Happiest boy in the world! From → Uncategorized. Build a web...

https://seattlefarmette.wordpress.com/2015/06/09/day-6-more-grand-canyon
Seattle Farmette and Baby. Stuff I'm doing lately. Day 6: more Grand Canyon. June 9, 2015. Our second day at the Grand Canyon we drove around to different viewpoints to enjoy the scenery. But first we set on benches outside the lodge and had breakfast burritos. Isaac was thrilled to hold Moose’s leash. This rock formation is called Angels window. Look to the top, you can see little people walking out onto yet another beautiful and scary precipice! Of course we had to do it too! From → Uncategorized.

Things everybody would say / Believing is hard / Believing is art. Archive January, 2014. First, it’s fricking cold here. -17 right now, I think. What the eff! I am at work for the first time in 16 days. I have tomorrow off, because schools are closed again (IT’S COLD! I want to try to remember things better, so maybe I will write more in here again, like I did once upon a time. For now, I just want to do a quick run-through of what I did on my staycation. 12/22: small family Christmas, big family in town.

Things everybody would say / Believing is hard / Believing is art. I found this at a blog I read, and variations of it seem to be all over, so I am going to do this thing and try to continue to do this thing on a regular basis. 1 What did you do in 2013 that you’d never done before? Um, represented myself in a court hearing? Went to Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America and rode lots of rides? Many, many things at work that I didn’t ever do before (newish job and all that)? 5 Where did you travel?
Believing is Art
https://snire.wordpress.com/2013/12/13/950
Things everybody would say / Believing is hard / Believing is art. My grandmother passed away last Thursday. She was beautiful. Sharp-tongued, but kind. Funny. Smart as a whip. This had been a rough year for my grandma. For my mom, too, who had to take care of her. But, it hasn’t really clicked that she is gone. For good. Despite her health history, she lived a full and wonderful life. An ordinary, extraordinary life. She and my grandpa raised three kids and built a successful business. They ...She was a...

Things everybody would say / Believing is hard / Believing is art. I may or may not finish the book that I am currently reading ( Big Machine. We Need to Talk About Kevin. Saw part of the end coming, but still enjoyed this book immensely. Haunting. Sticks with you long after finishing the book. Not as good as the Harry Hole books. Okay chick lit; weird anorexia twist. Read with Rowan. Love this book! The Book of Lost Things. A really nice fantasy book for young adults and old ones alike! Why did I love t...
About me. | Believing is Art
https://snire.wordpress.com/about-me
Things everybody would say / Believing is hard / Believing is art. 1 It is a not-so-secret desire of mine to be on the show. Even though there are so many things about that that would not work. I don’t like being outdoors. I don’t know how to camp. I don’t know how to ‘survive’. I hate fish, and most of the diet consists of fish. And, well, I’m too nice (apparently) to play. That said, I think that I could totally win the game. 2 I’m not interesting enough to be on that show. 9 I am scared of vampires.
radio silence | Believing is Art
https://snire.wordpress.com/2013/06/25/radio-silence
Things everybody would say / Believing is hard / Believing is art. Rowan really loves the song “Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons. Radio silence, somehow, reminds me of that. Same syllables. Same cadence. To change. Endangerment. Evidentiary hearing. So, he wins the battle; I win the war. So, that sort of explains my quiet. I’ve also been very busy and excited and engaged at work. Who knew that business analyst roles were SO MUCH FUN? Next Post →. One Response to “radio silence”. June 28, 2013 at 7:51 am.

July | 2014 | Believing is Art
https://snire.wordpress.com/2014/07
Things everybody would say / Believing is hard / Believing is art. Archive July, 2014. In reviewing my life here, it seems that I have, once again, undergone a silence. Life. Work. Kids. I don’t really feel like there is that much to say. We keep on, in our ordinary lives, and do our best to just keep it all together at times. How much more mundane could I be? However, there are things that I’d like to record, so here I am, again, on this infrequently used or viewed platform, to write them out. We were t...

Seattle Farmette and Baby. Stuff I'm doing lately. Day 10: drive to Palm Springs. June 9, 2015. Next up: another 4 1/2 hour drive. This time to reach Aunt Susan’s house in Palm Springs. We stopped at Dairy Queen for lunch. Isaac shared his ice cream with Florence. What a sweet brother! It was a long drive, through totally barren hot desert. There were hardly any places for us to stop and take a break, which made for a not so fun day. From → Uncategorized. Day 9: Las Vegas. June 9, 2015. She reached a bre...
