Friday, 2 December 2011. Wellmy final day of classes at Fitness Ridge today. Kind of bittersweet! I had a great day though, actually rode the Spin bike for 3 hours of intervals this afternoon.it was tough! Not much to report, another hike and then Last Chance Workout for 1.5 hours tomorrow afternoon. Trying to stay focused, but all I can think about is going home to my honey and Lolabella! Thursday, 1 December 2011. Woke up this morning to very strong winds, but not nearly as bad as was predicted. So off on our hike we go! We did a gorgeous hike, called Zuma Ridge, which is basically in the mountains just up from Zuma Beach. A very tough hike, straight up and straight down. Super windy at the top, blew my hat and sunglasses right off! Had another good day in the classes, had a few people come up and tell me how I am inspiring them, working my ass off! Tuesday, 5 April 2011. It's Tuesday morning, and I"m still trying to wrap my brain around the fact that I"m leaving for home tomorrow morning. I am so disappointed, and really can't believe that this has happened. Just the thought that it will take possibly months to heal this injury is weighing pretty heavily on me right now. I did my test out and the results are in. I lost. Looking very forward to seeing my friends and family, thanks to Rosie and Steve for coming to pick me up! Monday, 4 April 2011.

Tuesday, 29 November 2011. I'm VERY happy to say I'm feeling much better today! Went on the Advanced hike, and was still in the front group, with the other 20 yr olds! At the top, I had to have some electrolytes from the guide, but felt good after that. I"m not 100% yet, but pretty much back to normal. Some great classes today, did a weights class with the step, very tough, but good! Need to get a good sleep tonight, so I can give it my all tomorrow. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Wednesday, 30 November 2011. A great day here at Fitness Ridge! Feeling 100% again, and so happy! A very tough hike again this morning, but very beautiful. One of the ladies found a tick on her face.eeeeek! Another had one on her back, and had to go to Urgent care to get it removed. She got quite ill actually. And it's not even tick season! So I"m a little freaked out by it, and have been scratching all day! Did high intensity step class, Mountain, kick boxing and cardio circuits. I really needed it.

Saturday, 26 November 2011. Another great day here at Fitness Ridge! Did the beautiful extended hike today, we climbed the highest peak in the Santa Monica mtns. I posted a pic of me at the very top on Facebook if you want to check it out! 8 miles today, was long but a wonderful feeling of accomplishment! Met Sofie for a few hours, we went down to a cafe in Malibu and chatted like 8 years had never passed. Now THAT'S a true friend. Miss you so much girlfriend! Friday, October 8, 2010. Even more than thinking about my mom, though, my thoughts drifted to the last funeral that I attended- a little over 1 month ago. My sweet friend, Janeece, lost her battle with cancer at the age of 26. She is survived by just about everyone in her family - including her dear husband and her 2 children.
