Settler vineyards are situated on the terraces above the Okawa Stream, 25 kms west of Hastings. The north facing vineyard overlooks the Okawa Valley and the gentle rolling hills upstream always ensure air movement through the vines, while protecting the vineyard from southerlies. With Crownthorpe Settlement Road on one side, the remainder of the vineyard is surrounded by native bush. What stands out in the wines is the depth and strength and the connection with the origin of the variety.
