http://sewpat.blogspot.com/2009/12/happy-new-year-2010.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. Happy New Year - 2010. Happy New Year Everyone. Well actually depends on where you are. LOL. It is still NYE here. I am working on my sewing room and finding many goodies. I have started (again) on 2 UFOs. I am determined to whittle that number down by 2 per month in 2010. It is very cold and only to get colder today. They just said tonight there will be a full moon. Rather dangerous combination - full moon and NYE together. Here's praying everyone stays safe. And by making y...

Sew Pat: Happy Mother's Day
http://sewpat.blogspot.com/2010/05/happy-mothers-day.html
Friday, May 7, 2010. Three simple little words that hold so much meaning. Mother's are many times not given the credit they deserve. Mother's give to their families ahead of their own needs. Their deeds many times go unnoticed and unappreciated. Though we don't notice when our laundry is done, our house is clean and our meals are not cooked for us, we do notice when these things are not done. Why is it that we cannot appreciate all that is done for us? Here are some of my thank you's:. Lovely post Pat...

The World as I Know It: September 2009
http://laurie127s.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
The World as I Know It. Sunday, September 27, 2009. I'm really behind on my blogging! On August 16th, I became the proud gramma of Claudia Brooke Southworth. She weighed in at 6lbs 5oz, 19 1/2 inches long. She had really dark hair, and I love being gramma! This is the first of a set of 2 baby quilts I'm trying to put together for a set of twins about to be born at church. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Iao Valley State Park - Maui. At the Dole Plantation. The World as I Know It: January 2010
http://laurie127s.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
The World as I Know It. Wednesday, January 27, 2010. I finally finished the 12 month project, Journey of Discovery, Block of the month. Now to put them together! Block #8 - Montana. Thursday, January 7, 2010. Yep, it's January. The snow is falling, we have about 6" on the ground with more coming tonight. It's the light fluffy stuff that blows into big drifts if the wind picks up. I'd rather have the 'snowman' kind. heavy, and wet, it stays on the ground in one place better! Monday, January 4, 2010. The World as I Know It: Thoughts for today
http://laurie127s.blogspot.com/2010/08/thoughts-for-today.html
The World as I Know It. Wednesday, August 18, 2010. When I consider this, I wonder how we build true relationships. Are we playing all the cards and finishing the game with a winning hand all the time? But, what does God want for us? Let's stop playing games with one another, and submerge ourselves in true relationships. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Iao Valley State Park - Maui. At the Dole Plantation. The World as I Know It: March 2009
http://laurie127s.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
The World as I Know It. Wednesday, March 18, 2009. Block of the Month - Kansas. Kansas is the third block in the "Voyage of Discovery" Block of the month series. Monday, March 2, 2009. I started this quilt a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't quite settle on fabrics, they didn't seem to give me the 3-d effect I was hoping for. I really wanted to use the giraffe squares for the "window" part. I really like how it all turned out! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Iao Valley State Park - Maui. At the Dole Plantation.

The World as I Know It: February 2010
http://laurie127s.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
The World as I Know It. Saturday, February 27, 2010. Day #7 - The last day. Sunday. We packed a lunch then headed to Kona Baptist Church. Then for another picnic and more whale waching at the Place of Refuge Park. After a few hours it was back to the Honokohau Harbor and the. For another round of fish before I leave. The fish of the day was "Monchong". It's a white fish full of flavor, but not a strong "fishy" one. It was perhaps the best fish I had ever eaten. Day #6 - Whale watching. The way to Waimea.
