Sunday, May 26, 2013. Today was her actual recital. The boys were about as excited as you can imagine by the time it was over. She loved getting flowers from her daddy. We are gearing up for the last week of school. Here we come summertime! Saturday, May 25, 2013. Today was dress rehearsal for miss J's recital tomorrow. She loved getting to put on that red lipstick. A trait that I am sure is a little mix of my grandmother and her cousin Nicole. Enjoy the show! Saturday, May 4, 2013. Our girl in action:).

Wednesday, November 6, 2013. A whole lot of Random. This post is a whole lot of random or, in other words, I finally dumped all the pictures off my phone! My big kiddos started riding the bus. Let me tell you it is a beautiful thing. No more afternoon car pool line and they are actually home faster. Win Win! A few weeks ago I went on a little road trip by myself. It was crazy not having my little travelers with me but I did make it to TN faster than I ever have before:). The cutest pumpkin in the patch!

Monday, September 29, 2014. 1 I am not a photographer. 2 But I pretended to be one while I was in Tennessee last week. The weather was spectacular! Perfect for working outside, and playing outside. Our true purpose for this trip was to spend quality time with my brother and his family before they left for the mission field in South Sudan. (Check it out here: www.dkwherever.com. The kids soaked up the time together. It was a great time spent with family and a great time in God's creation. Group was set to...

Friday, May 29, 2015. What Does God Do? Notes to myself (part 2). What does God do? He brings times of drought. 9 "You look for much, but behold, it comes to little; when you bring it home, I blow it away. Why? COME BACK TO ME.". He brings blasting wind, mildew, and hail. 17 'I smote you and every work of your hands with blasting wind, mildew and hail; yet you did not come back to Me. SEEK GOD, LEARN RIGHTEOUSNESS. THERE IS NO GOD BESIDES ME.". He brings death, life, wounds, and healing. The Perfect Acce...

Monday, June 15, 2015. Centrifuge Youth Camp: A re-cap. 1 The last time I went to youth camp was the year 2000.I was a counselor that year. 2 Going back as a youth leader this year was an eye-opening experience.different, to say the least. All of us leaders were assigned a night to lead church group devotions, so I spent a little time preparing for this. The lessons were based on the theme for the camp, which was "Alive and Free," and the scripture used was the book of James. 1 John 1:3 says,. I then pac...

Tuesday, October 28, 2014. From Peace to Reality and Back Again. 1 Peace. Calm. Days that flow. That's what I want. We went to the beach a couple of weeks ago. It looked like this:. The weather was amazing, the water was fine, but the best thing about this beach trip was just that "beach feeling". Peace Calm. Days that flow. I get this same feeling when we have time to spend in Tennessee. It looks like this:. Tennessee in Pictures" (my previous blog post). Peaceful. Calm. Days that flow. No more peace, n...

Saturday, January 24, 2015. 1 I have officially joined the "I love Charleston! Club I love it. 2 I, however, did not LOVE the Charleston Marathon. BUT I did survive it. I traveled to Charleston with my BFF Susan. Turning the whole weekend into a girls'. Weekend is the best idea I've had in 2015. I had the support of my dear running friends from the Covington YMCA and actually got to run more than half the race with at least one of them. That was a real morale boost. I finished the race. Yes I did. I had ...

http://katiesgeorgialife.blogspot.com/2015/05/walking-with-god-notes-to-myself.html
Saturday, May 16, 2015. Walking with God: notes to myself. 22 Then Enoch walked with God three hundred years after he became the father of Methuselah, and he had other sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him. 9 These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God. God told the Israelites to do it to. So, what does He require? 1 Ther...
