Recipes that I have collected. Monday, October 21, 2013. Minestrone Soup topped with Pesto. I recently had the opportunity to sharpen my skills at an abridged Basic Knife Skills class at the very cool and new San Francisco Cooking School. Recipe from the San Francisco Cooking School. 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil. 1 ½ cups diced onion. 2 medium carrots, cut in ½-inch dice. 2 medium leeks, white and light green parts only, finely sliced. 2 stalks celery, cut in ½-inch pieces. 1 medium garlic clove, chopped.
