Imagine my surprise to realize it has been a whole year since my last post. What the heck have I been doing? Lots of good things for sure! Great shopping, great friends, fun card games, relaxing reading and sunning in the lounge chair on the sand followed up with the best massages beachside daily by Rosa. Now I just need home to warm up! Spring in the Desert.

Included here are photos from our hikes to the Snow Canyon Overlook, Elephant Arch and the Petrified Log Jam via Huber Wash outside of Rockville. Mike, Paige and Ben. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. As of late, I have been regularly attending Zumba and Latin Jam classes at my local gym. They are great classes! They are high energy, lots of fun, and the teacher is a full on maniac! I mean seriously, if a spastic, Latin woman, with wild, long, curly hair and a rockin' bod teaching a latin-ish dance class doesn't motivate you to lose a few elbees, then I don't think anything will. So, I guess I will just stand right here! Now, what is the problem, you ask?

Mike, Paige and Ben. Friday, October 15, 2010. I honestly can't believe where the times goes. Ben is already 3 and a half months old, and he is the cutest little thing ever! Ben is so much fun these days. He is smiling tons and has found his voice. He makes this high pitched squeal, then looks at me like "did you hear that? He loves to suck on his hands! He is gaining weight like crazy! His face is rounder and his little thighs are getting chunky. And he is so long! Imagine ME having a tall son!

Mike, Paige and Ben. Friday, April 15, 2011. And So It Goes. It's true. We are indeed back in Utah. And while I am thrilled to be here, our journey back was quite the adventure. There are certain reasons I always tell Mike that I will NEVER drive through Donner's Pass anytime from October to April! And here is our adventure in numbers:. 5 hours not moving on the freeway. 2 girls needing a bathroom. I started to think crazy astronaut lady wasn't so crazy after all-. 2 girls needing a nap. 8 inches of snow.

He was a little unsure at first, but by the end I would ask what he saw that day and his eyes would get wide and he would say "zishies"! No 'f' sound yet, but he gets it. It was so fun.
