http://shift-180.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html

Not possible, at least if you operate from a traditional set of management operating beliefs. But, there is a limit of how far my power will take me when I lead solely from the strength of my authority and intellect. In order to access my full power, I need to look inside my heart where I connect with my message. Admitting that I do not know, or do not have the solution o...

Shift180: November 2014
http://shift-180.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
November 14, 2014. A prospective client recently asked me if there is a common thread in our coaching practice working with leaders. My simple response - ‘Communication. People want to connect at a deeper level to get through to another person or member of a team, and they come to us to help them breakdown the barriers’. The client smiled, acknowledging that he, too, resonates with this common thread. Here’s what I’ve learned about communication from my experience. There are two stages to RECEIVE. I use ...

Shift180: How to Shift Your Perspective when Chaos Shows Up
http://shift-180.blogspot.com/2014/05/how-to-shift-your-perspective-when.html
May 23, 2014. How to Shift Your Perspective when Chaos Shows Up. Chaos within a management team is inevitable. We define chaos as anything that takes the team out of its comfort zone. Shift180: December 2009
http://shift-180.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
December 16, 2009. Something broke my morning ritual at the gym. So used to handing my card to the receptionist for swiping, my forward movement was halted as she sanitized her hands after placing cash in the drawer. Along with her apology for delaying my check-in, she shared her ritual of cleansing immediately after handling money. Racing through my mind were images of germs bouncing off a greenback infecting those who came into contact with it. What is your relationship with money? December 3, 2009.

July 29, 2010. True Friends are a Gift! We’ve all heard that, we’ve seen it on Hallmark cards, and at times, we’ve even felt it and believed it. True friendship IS a gift! It is a blessing in our lives. But why is it that true friends are so few and far between? How is it that many times, we can hurt ourselves because of choices and actions that our “friends” make? How many of you have been hurt even by your so-called “best” friend? How does that happen? In the first case, when we connect with people for...
