Wednesday, May 22, 2013. The Honeymoon, was awesome! We spent it on the Olympic Peninsula in the Quinault Lodge. We had originally planned three nights of camping and only two nights at the lodge but that was easily replaced by relaxing at home and an extra night at the lodge. Thursday, January 2, 2014. So this is what I look like. I feel like a hot air balloon, and it makes me very nervous to think this is only half way! But looking at the pic, I'm probably not as big as I feel! I really love these things, I feel like a little kid! Ah yes, I almost forgot, as of today. I'm working on week 21. Woot Woot! Sunday, November 24, 2013. It was so windy last time we passed through the Gorge! We stopped at Vista Point to play. It was the kind of wind that held us up when we leaned against it and that pushed us back when we jumped. It was also very fun to watch everyone else playing around in the wind, I think everyone was surprised at the ferocity of it. It was delightful. I don't really know what he was talking about. It could have gotten much uglier than it did. So, very nearly became a young widow this summer!

Saturday, December 10, 2011. My favorite time of the year. Adia and I are reading Swiss Family Robinson. This is more difficult than I imagined. I was actually ready to give up after a few chapters. Adia on the other hand had just got the bug and wants to keep at it. She's even taken the book to bed a couple nights and chipped away on her own.
