Angelina's Instructional Leadership: November 2006

http://angelinasinstructionalleadership.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 06, 2006. I had a terrific opportunity to attend the Making Connections conference last week in Richmond, BC. This conference focuses on school-wide systems such as Effective Behaviour Systems (EBS) to enhance student success and achievement. Despite no "earth-shattering" moments, I did attend a good session on classroom management models and I used those ideas with my class today. It was very effective. And the best part is, I find I am focusing on the positive. British Columbia, Canada.

Social Responsibility

Excerpt from The Declaration of a Global Ethic given at the Parliament of World Religions, 1993. We are interdependent. Each of us depends on the well-being of the whole, and so we have respect for the community of living beings, for people, animals, and plants, and for the preservation of Earth, the air, water and soil.
