After the curfew was lifted at 6 am the next morning, the conflict grew even more tense, and another curfew was imposed - it was only lifted for short periods to allow people to buy food. The curfew was not completely lifted until 2 August, 11 days after the start of the riots. The government arrested about 3,000 people, including 600 secret society members and 256 people charged with possession of dangerous weapons. The rest were arrested for violating the curfew. Fourstar has been the only skateboarding clothing brand that I have been wearing since I could remember stepping onto a board. This year they turn 15. In the 90's, a lot of companies came and went. Battlefield House was the homestead of the widow Mary Jones Gage and her two children, James and Elizabeth, who journeyed to the area from New York State in 1790. Mrs. Gage received a grant of 200 acres and in exchange was required to swear allegiance to the Crown. Battlefield House was constructed first as a rough-hewn log house and in 1796 this was replaced by a storey-and-a-half frame house. Download the whole Field Trip Planner for printing.
