http://softpowerhealth.org/about.php

I wondered what local people did to protect themselves and if they were constantly sick from malaria. Based on these findings, it seemed like an easy intervention could be developed that would be life-saving and help people to help themselv...

It’s been over a month since the last post and for good reason. Enter one of the biggest events in my life to date:. The day I posted my last entry,. I was approached by a friend of mine offering support, she wanted to give me $20 to, “my organisation.” Strangely, another friend asked if he could run a night for me at a local club, donating ticket prices to, “my organisation.”. If locals are this passionate about doing something, then why shouldn’t I be? And this is where it all started. To add yet anoth...

Not a week before they are given the all clear and cross over to Uganda! Established in 1999, the project has b...

Mzungu! Mzungu!: March 2008
http://mzungumzungu.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
The adventures of two do-gooders escaping to a Ugandan orphanage for 6 months. Friday, 21 March 2008. Our beloved Kampala. The city is basically 24/7 gridlock. But it still rocks! Us both at Sipi Falls number two. We had a beautiful view over sipi falls 1 from our campsite - but it was bloody windy on that cliff! The thunder clouds encrouch into a sunset over the nile up at Bujagali Falls. Grace and Steve up at Bujagali (hope the photos not too dark to see). Or too much poker? After the peace of Sipi we ...
