West: Lewes to Southease. East: Seaford to Eastbourne. This walk begins from the coastal town of Seaford a short distance from the South Downs Way. Passing over Seaford Head you get fantastic views of the path over the Seven Sisters ahead then head inland to follow the banks of the river Cuckmere through Westdean, Litlington and Alfriston. From Alfriston the path climbs onto the downs offering stunning views all around before descending to Southease, a few miles north of Newhaven. Getting to the Start.

West: Seaford to Southease. East: Eastbourne to Exceat. This walk starts from the small town of Seaford on the Sussex coast, initially following the Vanguard Way. Getting to the Start. Seaford is on the A259, easily accessed from the A27 by joining the A26 near Lewes. There is parking along much of the sea front. By public transport, there is a station at Seaford, at the end of a branch line from Lewes. It is mainly served by local trains from Brighton, operated by Southern. Brighton and Hove Buses.

This time I ran the marathon; 28.10 miles of cliffs and rocky terrain with a 4000ft elevation. I believe 2015 will be the toughest year that I will ever experience. The North Downs Way 100 is just a few months away. Running is very spiritual, and I sincerely cannot explain this feeling within a few words.
