Rough Guide: Club History. Rough Guide: Who's Who. Inept Defending Of Our Time. The internet: one giant pain in the arse. If you're not fretting over whether you'll get caught Facebook-stalking that weirdly compelling freak in Accounts, you're despairing over The Sun's garish website, finding obscure bands from Portland you'll never see or drunkenly subscribing to the online broadcasts of your third favourite American sport. Ken Fox's Boston United site. Boston United Official Site. Pretty much sums it up.

Pop The Bubbles: The Red House 7/7/2008
http://pop-the-bubbles.blogspot.com/2008/07/red-house-772008.html
Wednesday, 16 July 2008. The Red House 7/7/2008. On the back of my right hand there’s a cerise pink smudge that I believe depicted three bears or lions or cats or something, although after a couple of days it’s really hard to tell. I acquired it when I entered The Red House. I went there to see MJ Hibbett. When I saw an advertisement for Big Pink Cake. I absolutely loved it. It’s bouncy and poppy and cute and it made me smile; a lot. A quick search on Google took me to The Parallelograms. The first of th...

We've just spent a couple of hours laughing and drinking white wine and getting stoned and talking nonsense; its probably quite dangerous to be near a computer, as we;ve just been discussing what dogs think of their tails.

Music magick and mischief.and yes, i'm still putting the first syllable into country. Wednesday, June 09, 2004. Last summer, way back when my arm was broken and i was dreaming of escaping the 9 to 5 I was delighted when my abstract was accepted by Georgetown university for chapter in an anthology on women and alt. country - me, doing something proper, for a real book, fancy that! Whither the Knoxville Girl? Women and Murder Ballads in Alt. Country. The central themes of country music may be summarized.

Music magick and mischief.and yes, i'm still putting the first syllable into country. Wednesday, June 06, 2007. I don't play round here very much anymore, as you've probably noticed. Somewhere else I've just been told psychogeography is pretentious intellectual codswollop and i should go and wash cars instead. It's hard to disagree with such a potent critique. I wanted to post a few people festival programmes but i don;t have any left so i'm reprinting the introduction here:. Sometimes it feels like its ...

Music magick and mischief.and yes, i'm still putting the first syllable into country. Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Chris Mills and Festival Fun. The 28th May heralds the start of Manchesters Second Accidental International Festival of Psychogeography, curated by The LRM. I really hope to see you Friday and if not very soon indeed - there's some ace treats coming up. The thin...
