We did not have any A/C in school today - not good for a 100 day here in Phoenix - plus with 30 sweaty sixth grade bodies in the room, it got quite warm. Things are looking brighter. I learned this past Friday that I would be moving to Roanoke, VA in two weeks! The company is paying to move my family and it is a pay raise :). We discussed with the kids where they would like to live, if they got a chance to pick, and they both indicated a desire to live in the mid-Atlantic area, which is where most of the calls were from. Well, a fellow running friend of mine works for Godaddy. We ended up parking in the second parking space from the entrance. And were directed to the elevator to our "Suite", we got to the box suite and we were the only ones there. It is a private suite for 18 people and it turned out to be just 9 of us there (seven runners and my two kids). They even delivered. Three pizzas popcorn, and pretzels. Here we go for another good week. I went to REI yesturday and returned my trail running shoes that caused the blister and picked up the old trusty Asics 2130's. The Blister is feeling much better and was able to get in a run last night. Here is the results from yesterday:. Run: 5.0 miles along the canal, avg pace 11:59. Honey Nut Cheerios: 120 cal. I’m back from my self-imposed sabadical. I am still on the training plan for the RNR marathon in San Diego, June 1st. I have five races to do before then.
