Leave The Biker: Danville Road Race
http://leavethebiker.blogspot.com/2008/07/danville-road-race.html
Musings on my obsession with cycling and other random thoughts. Monday, July 28, 2008. Lining up for the Cat 3/4 race were only ten riders, four of which were from Team Echelon. I didn’t like those odds, especially since no other squad had more than one rider present. I just hoped to be able to withstand the onslaught. It was good for me mentally to have a good result after struggling at the Troy crit last weekend, so I can now take a little positive attitude into the Zoar Road Race.

Leave The Biker: Summer Solstice Races
http://leavethebiker.blogspot.com/2008/06/summer-solstice-races.html
Musings on my obsession with cycling and other random thoughts. Tuesday, June 17, 2008. This past weekend, I travelled down to the Wilmington area on consecutive days to compete in Stages 2 and 4 of the Summer Solstice Stage Race, promoted by Ohio Valley Racing. The courses are pretty flat, but long, so it was a good opportunity to build some endurance and possibly help my teammates out. The scheduled race for Saturday was to complete 5 laps on a 13-mile course. Not a bad way to end the day. Being legend...

Where Marco Pantani's cadillac meets Albert Ayler's bicycle. Saturday, March 31, 2012. Dear God, Send Me A Criterium. Yeah, you heard me. Gimme some fast flat racing! Belgian hardman Dave Chambers and I carpooled up to Malabar Farms to race yet another hilly.HILLY race today. Upon arriving we saw the Masters race would have a former pro, Mighty Scott Young (and his 13 pound bike), the 2TallWall - Jeff Blodgett, Chris Grizzards, Blair the Mountain Goat, etc. etc. We didn't even stay around for the finish.

RipYourLegsOff: Block - OH! Criterium
http://inaspinlovingthespinimin.blogspot.com/2011/07/block-oh-criterium.html
Where Marco Pantani's cadillac meets Albert Ayler's bicycle. Saturday, July 16, 2011. I was watching the Tour de France this morning before I left for the crit at Ohio State. Maybe it is because his name is so cool to say. "Dah-Veed Mon-Coo-tee-Aaa". That I decided to race like David Moncoutie the Cofidis rider that always rides at the back of the peloton. The World of Pain riders joining me were Cadillac George and Brian 'Lil' Fabian' O'Hara. Saturday, July 16, 2011. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
