http://jrcsmediablog.blogspot.com/2012/11/sicky-bad.html
Y12 Media Studies Blog. Monday, 19 November 2012. Unfortunately I won't make it in to school today due to a horrible tummy bug, but I have left some work for you to complete in my absence. Today I want you to focus on the representation of disability in TV drama. In his 1991 study, Paul Hunt identified certain stereotypes that the media use to represent disability:. As a pitiable or pathetic. An object of curiosity of violence. His/her own worst enemy. Being unable to participate in daily life.

Y12 Media Studies Blog. Monday, 14 January 2013. Hello again my amazing Media Moguls, Unfortunately, I'm still laid up in bed like an old Irish granny, feeling very sorry for herself!
