Saturday, January 29, 2011. Trekking again.like I did last November! Well, not exactly like I did last November. This time, I'm only walking three miles. And only for a few hours on one day. Without all the financial commitment. But still. My mom and I have formed Team 2ManyCats. And we'll be walking in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes on April 30. This cause is even more near and dear to me than breast cancer, so I'm really excited about trekking on to support it! Donate to Team 2ManyCats. Now shall I walk.

Monday, July 19, 2010. I got this message from a fellow 3-Day walker the other day. She's on another team comprised of CCLs and wanted to share this wonderful burst of inspiration:. The donations, the support, the love, the blisters.they DO. So does the weather. I was able to walk seven miles Saturday. It was cloudy, breezy and apparently not very humid. Tuesday, February 12, 2013. This year, my Trekkin for TaTas teammates and I are heading for Seattle! I've always wanted to go there, but no one ever stopped whining that it's always raining long enough to go with me. Our team captain, Sue Lyn, will be walking. She's crazy that way. :). As a crew member, I don't have to raise money. However, it is encouraged, so if you just feel the desperate need to donate on my behalf I'll virtually high-five you. As in, post big thanks and stuff. Words of Walking Wisdom.

Yesterday, I went to get fitted. For shoes. This time I went to a running store where they have more than one brand of shoes, and no weird Chinese shoes that aim your toes at the ceiling. I told my mom before I went in, if they've never heard of the 3-Day like the last place, I'm not letting them fit me for shoes for it.
