Paul Rayson: September 2007
http://paulrayson.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Well-written drivel with a bit of swearing. Friday, 28 September 2007. I am Paul Rayson, and I am always alert. If you want to start a blog, first thing you should ask yourself is: why on earth do I want to contribute yet another longwinded, inelegant dump. To this virtual and literal inelegant. As the longwinded, inelegant question subliminally hints, my reasons at least are sound: my girlfriend has dumped me, and I know I'm going to have at least an extra hour spare each week. 2 I'll make it look pretty.

Paul Rayson: February 2012
http://paulrayson.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Well-written drivel with a bit of swearing. Thursday, 9 February 2012. Stewart Lee: bloody hero. I can't sleep. The only thing I can think of to calm down is you. My sense of unease has brought me to post on here, my little blog, for the first time in four years. It was more than just the car crash. Aspect that made me want to watch a bit of the new series, though. It was more than just the the general awkwardness, astonishing even by the usual standards of live television. But she's on autopilot nowaday...

Paul Rayson: November 2007
http://paulrayson.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Well-written drivel with a bit of swearing. Sunday, 25 November 2007. The dark side: Nixon's crooked hand reaches for Fool Elvis. Elvis knew He was The King, but He knew perfectly well that He was a fool as well. Better make that a capital "F". Later albums are sometimes difficult to listen to, but not because He was washed up as an artist — far from it. Other people wrote His songs, but it's because of that voice. It's the whole life in His work that counts, though, not just the sadness. Most of us cele...

Paul Rayson: October 2007
http://paulrayson.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Well-written drivel with a bit of swearing. Sunday, 28 October 2007. David Bowie: Low (1977). Seven things that have put me, and probably you as well, off listening to David Bowie:. The Dancing in the Street video. I can laugh about it ironically now, of course, but I fought wars to get rid of the 80s. The whole Ziggy Stardust thing. Come on — it's a bit theatrical! Bowie's crotch in Labyrinth. You're just interested in massive cock, you massive poof! The way people talk him up. Bowie is hugely influenti...

Paul Rayson: January 2008
http://paulrayson.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Well-written drivel with a bit of swearing. Sunday, 27 January 2008. Three diary entries and a weird Watchdog end. Warhol: My diary is more glamorous than his. Tuesday 8 January 2008. Watched I Am Legend. Fucking amazing. Emma Thompson is responsible for the downfall of mankind, which seems entirely plausible. I didn't mind Will Smith even though in real life he mentions Scientology without the accompanying phrase "bunch of cunts" so obviously he's a cunt. Wednesday 16 January 2008. One last, Watchdog wa...

Paul Rayson: February 2008
http://paulrayson.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Well-written drivel with a bit of swearing. Monday, 11 February 2008. I'm definitely more stupid than I was even last year. My admiration for I Am Legend (see "Three diary entries and a weird Watchdog end" post) was a weak warning of what was to come. Thoughts I've had this week:. 1 I know what I'd like to watch again. Mad Max. Not just the first one, either, but all three. Yes, I remember perfectly well that Tina Turner is in the last one. I've calmed down a bit. I find it boring as Tom Hanks when peopl...

Paul Rayson: December 2007
http://paulrayson.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Well-written drivel with a bit of swearing. Monday, 17 December 2007. Monday 17 December 2007. Re: Roy "Chubby" Brown. I've written a joke for Roy "Chubby" Brown, as an opener. Please send me a tenner if he wants it:. Fucking hell. I thought crowds were supposed to turn ugly, not start out that way.". Saturday, 15 December 2007. You need to say more than, "Feel sorry for me, I have so much money it's made me all horrible," I'm afraid. Sunday, 2 December 2007. Anyway, I tried to watch Top Gear again last ...
