So here we are. Again.: The start of class and a new blog
http://maggiequam.blogspot.com/2010/02/start-of-class-and-new-blog.html
So here we are. Again. Saturday, February 13, 2010. The start of class and a new blog. I decided it was time to start over. I was tired of my last blog and am working on setting this one up. I felt it was unfair for my students to write in their blog three times each week, so I decided I would too. Mostly I will respond to the assignment questions on my class website (which you can find by looking at my profile). Anyway, cheers to a new beginning for myself, my class, and my blog! So here we are. Again. Tuesday, September 7, 2010. It was my first day at my new school! I forgot my breakfast, lunch, water bottle, and sweater. So far, I've had four packets of Target brand fruit snacks. They are not filling. I got tons of new clothes too! I can dress cute again (since I'm expected to practically wear a suit). But it's cool, I'm now buying earrings and accessories for the first time and wearing cute clothes again. September 8, 2010 at 6:35 PM. Hooray for Miss Maggie! I write Summer Son...

July 13, 2010 at 7:59 PM. Youre back at it again! At least for this post.). Oh, and welcome to the neighborhood :). Hey Ya - Obadiah Parker.

The resource link I chose for this posting is the CBS News page for strange new stories. Olive the Wonder Hamster. When I grow up? Shoot, I am growed up. I'm in high school. What more is there to do? Sunday, November 7, 2010. I really enjoyed creating a podcast. It was fun to choose a topic ( reading a personal essay from 10 years ago. Not just her mechanics. I knew this before I did the podcast; I internalized it as I was re-reading my teacher's comments. Once I finally figured out how to turn my blog into a podcast using Blogger. Morphing my audio file into a podcast was simple. If the tec...

The Amber Tower: Breaking the Silence
http://brideck.blogspot.com/2011/07/breaking-silence.html
Friday, July 22, 2011. It's been a busy couple of weeks since returning from Europe. We returned to Minnesota again to the news that one of Meaghan's students had committed suicide, so we attended our second funeral of the week that Saturday. Between that and trying to get acquainted with the current goings-on at work, it was a difficult week. None of that is the real reason that I'm making the effort to break my silence at such a late hour, though. My reason? Sunday morning, Meaghan and I become WARRIORS.

Thursday, January 22, 2009. I heart Mr. Morton. I have this Reading Workshop training to attend next week, and I've been racking my brain about what to do with my classes while I am gone. We are sort of in between units right now in both my 8 th. Grade classes, so there really isn't any "plan" that I need to follow. My solution? Oh, yes. They will be rocking out to " Conjunction Junction. Verb: It's What's Happening. Of cherishing all- errr. And " Lolly, Lolly, Lolly Get Your Adverbs Here. Mr Morton is h...
