The Kreidlers: June 2011
http://thekreidlers.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 12, 2011. Emily and I, along with 15 of our closest friends, spent a weekend camping at Camp Cedarledge in Pevley, Missouri. What an adventure! The weekend before our camping trip sported temperatures in the high 80s with clear blue sky. However, the weekend we camped, the temps were not nearly as warm and the first 20 or so hours, we had intermittent rain. Night temps were in the high 30s. Yikes! Here's just a few pictures and captions! Our camp site - we stayed at Totem Village. Four years...

http://thekreidlers.blogspot.com/2011/06/last-day-of-school-adam.html
Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Last day of School - Adam. Last Friday, Adam finished his kindergarten year at Frank P. Tillman Elementary School. North Glendale does not have the room for kindergarten, so the NG kindy kids are bused over to Tillman. While this was somewhat a pain to have two kids at two different elementary schools, Adam loved being at Tillman. We will miss his teacher, Trisha Yettke. She was exactly what Adam needed this past year. Last Day at the bus stop! BEST BUS DRIVER. EVER! The first we...

Monday, September 15, 2008. Our Annual Anniversary Picture. Can you believe how fast the time goes? The pictures were taken by Jacob who is 9. We feel blessed with health, happiness and support from our loving family and friends. Sunday, September 14, 2008. I'm Building an Ark! I feel for the families who were evacuated in Texas over the past few days. We're getting the (comparatively mild) fallout rain from Ike up here, and I have the pictures to prove it. Gang of Six: February 2009
http://ridgesfamily.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 20, 2009. Daddy/ Daughter Dance at Our Saviour's: January 31, 2009. When Karen read the notice in the church newsletter about the Daddy/ Daughter Dance in January and posed the question to me, I could not say, "No." There is no telling the level of embarrassment they may feel towards me when they will actually have the choice of telling me that there actually will be a dance of this sort at their middle school or high school. The girls were primed. Caitlin is kinetic, sensitive, and quic...

Monday, December 29, 2008. I have grown to love the chatter, laughing, crying and occasional quiet moments that are part of a large family. http://ridgesfamily.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 13, 2012. The First Week and Muir Woods. Caity and Isabel working on their Jr. Ranger packets. Throughout the day, we must have hiked 3 miles or so. The kids did amazingly, and Karen and I held our own, too. The following day, we ran nine miles as part of our training for the San Francisco Half-Marathon at the end of July. By Sunday night, we were DONE. We found a little beach just to the north of the wharfs and just before Fort Mason. This may be our new favorite after-work spot. We then...
