ashtanga journal: how long is now???
http://ashtangajournal.blogspot.com/2012/01/how-long-is-now.html
Saturday, January 07, 2012. How long is now? 2012 has arrived… I was lucky to enter the new year with a loved one. I noted some of the things I would wish for the new year… We managed to keep up until the midnight but that was it, after few minutes I was happy to be sleeping, the chicken I am. I am now counting days! Well now is time to be here, but how long is now until I get there? And perhaps most importantly how long is now for me to have the courage to be myself fully? My Ashtanga journey, one breath at a time. June 21, 2015 7 Comments. In the Mysore room, every fucking time. May 14, 2015 3 Comments. 1 Driving tightens my adductors. 2 I’m not great at following the prescribed rules. I often begin with compliance, but eventually a tendency towards questioning takes over. I like to analyze, contextualize, extract meaning and find resonance. I guess you can say I’m a bona fide shithead. 5 Kapotasana B is currently the finely honed razor’s edge of my existence. Life...On and Off the Mat: November 2011
http://lifeonandoffthemat.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
LifeOn and Off the Mat. Yoga in the real world. Tuesday, 22 November 2011. And so much has changed. Two years ago today I rocked up atYoga Place. And practiced for the first time with my teacher, and I claimed to know there and then that she was. Teacher – I usually have notoriously appalling judgement based on first impressions, so I’m glad this time I was right! One year ago today. Coincidentally) I was given setu bandhasana, the last pose of primary. To knee in ardha baddha padmottanasana I found a wh...

Looking for Nirodaha: Who would've thought?
http://lookingfornirodaha.blogspot.com/2008/10/who-wouldve-thought.html
8211; breath, bandha, drishti – the rest is show-off. I just lived through a wonderful weekend, so delightful in many ways and I also got a lot of stuff done that I've been putting off for far too long. I guess therapy is kicking in? Seriously, even if I still have a long way to go, it's really nice to see some progress, be able to feel a difference from just a couple of months ago. How wonderful it is to have a good laugh in the company of friends! This makes me so happy! October 20, 2008 at 7:00 PM.

8211; breath, bandha, drishti – the rest is show-off. This has sort of been my theme song today. i love the rhythms and the mystical tone of it, especially the last minute or so. it's been my friend in the ipod all day long. And now you're out - like a rainbow trout! Spring in NYC is lovely. funny that we are both writing again, although I just wrote a little. Perhaps later I shall write more. I know about the crazy schedule - it's hectic, isn't it? May 5, 2009 at 12:15 AM. This is what you get.

Yoga-ish: March 2010
http://justtherightamountofkate.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Lots going on the past 2 weeks - trip home to see my folks and a baby shower, then a wedding in South Carolina last weekend. Busy! But no, it was just a basic human reaction - when you catch eyes with someone you smile! And get off on the right foot! Had a nice basic half primary tonight, J was putting on a community class at lulu and several peeps from the studio were there to support her! Monday, March 15, 2010. Bake Me a Bread Coffin. I've gained about 5 pounds purely from l...
