With every other thing that needs to be done around here, we've not been able to carve out time to make the garden bigger. So after some discussion, it was decided to use containers. They are strewn about on the side deck and east lawn border. And the containers are of the "all sorts" category. Reused pots, buckets, tubs, baskets of all sizes. 2 cobs of corn.

But the wonderful news is that this particular yard was previously known for it's prolific production of fruits and veggies. The almost acre yard contains mature fruit trees. I love those little promises of produce that arrive in the mail. I've loved seed catalogs since I was a child and was able to beg an extra packet or two of some sort of exotic seed to plant in my little section of grandma's acre kitchen garden.
