A little more of nothing. July 1, 2012. Posted by suzanne under books. I recently had the opportunity to read. By Brian Hardin. The subtitle is “How reading the Bible in a year will change everything for you” and that pretty much sums it up. Hardin is the creator of the Daily Audio Bible. Podcast, wherein he reads a few passages every day so that if you listen every day you will have heard the whole Bible in one year. The third and biggest problem that I have with. Those things aside,. Notify me of new c...

A little more of nothing. February 9, 2013. Posted by suzanne under because i said so. I am not making this up. We don’t own a TV. And I am very vigilant about limiting screen time. For my kids when they are around smartphones etc. Cloth diapers (which, for the record, I prefer over disposables – even if the cost was the same. Disposables stink and feel so…papery.). No soda, except root beer or cream soda as a special treat. We pretty much drink only water, sometimes juice. I will keep my kids rear-facing.

A little more of nothing. April 2, 2012. Um…God’s not indebted to me. Posted by suzanne under because i said so. The point is, He doesn’t owe me an explanation for that season in our lives any more than He owed me a way out. One of Jake’s friends in France said that once. He was trying to say “give a rat’s ass.”. March 24, 2012. Money Saving Mom’s Budget audiobook review. Posted by suzanne under books. My scattered thoughts on life. January 21, 2010. It’s been a while! Posted by emifitz under Uncategorized. So I’m thinking about blogging again-it’s a nice outlet and a good way to keep in touch with people! Shout out to Suzanne! Currently on my mind is the devastation in Haiti and the helplessness most of the world feels, other than to give money and hope it gets to the injured and hurt in time. I am glad, at least, the crises is not going unnoticed. More to come…. January 21, 2010 at 5:41 pm. Fill in y...

Peddler of handcrafted goods, vector art and idle remarks. January 3, 2013. Mender of bad soles. Been on a big make things / crafting kick. Decided to make my own shoes. I wanted minimalism. Fewer seams means less work and less friction. Basically, I wanted a sock I could wear outside. I’ll walk you through it. One piece of leather for each shoe. 1 strip of stitching around the shoe. Not too shabby, eh? Laquo; Previous post. Next post ». One response to “Mender of bad soles”. January 5, 2013 at 9:52 am.

Peddler of handcrafted goods, vector art and idle remarks. January 3, 2015. There is a decent creek that winds through the park. beside the bridge nearest my dad’s place, there are dozens and dozens of ducks. dad was telling me how much rex loves to splash in this water and chase the ducks. as dad was telling me this, he was laughing and beaming over his spotted friend. At that moment it hit me clear as a bell. Rex loves being a dog. Laquo; Previous post. Next post ». Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

My scattered thoughts on life. April 20, 2009. Frisbee, feet, [f]ilosophy. Posted by emifitz under embarassment. I played in my first ultimate frisbee tournament on Saturday and it was so fun! Plus, it was supposed to downpour all day and it held off until mid-afternoon so it was great. I was very, very tired afterwards but all in all a good time. 8221; my feet are very hygenic, but i get a lot of blisters and battle scars. PS: ultimate frisbee is NOT disc golf! April 13, 2009. Jesus really changes lives!

Peddler of handcrafted goods, vector art and idle remarks. May 13, 2012. Mother’s day 2012. Today is mother’s day. As we were prepping for it, i asked ace what he wanted to give mama. He put his finger on his chin and said hmm. Then his face lit up. “giraffe! 8221; he exclaimed. You want to give mama a giraffe? Maybe we can think of something else to give mama. No no no no…. So we compromised and made her this. Happy mother’s day! Laquo; Previous post. Next post ». Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
Un paso a la vez: A few things
http://desdeespana.blogspot.com/2009/02/few-things.html
Un paso a la vez. I don't know what my life will look like two years from now, I don't know what path I will walk tomorrow. All I do know is that God will lead me one step at a time and I will do things I never imagined I would. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. It's hard to believe that I have been here for about a month. That's more than enough time to notice a few things:. 1) Birds sing when I cross the street. Don't believe me? 160;Come and see! 2) There really is sun in Madrid! 10) Dust is unavoidable...
