After 3 days at Meriter Hospital in Madison, he was transported to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. There, he received his second chance; a new heart at only 11 days old. Ant Hill and the Gang. Thursday, March 25, 2010. Rece was scheduled to have his cath/biopsy done on March 16th but because of a strep A infection on his skin, we had to reschedule it for April 29th. When I told him he said, "whew, that's a relief! I answered it as best I could but I think it's time to get some professionals involved that can explain it better than I. I'll be talking to our tx team about addressing this in April or June when we take both boys in for their check-ups. Links to this post.
