Sea Wave Energy Limited. SWEL technologies can have applications across desalination, coastal erosion and power generation. Desalination is an energy-intensive process and in many parts of the developing world is a very costly process, dependent on costly fossil fuels. There is therefore an increasing requirement to power desalination plants through renewables and the SWEL technology has considerable potential for this industrial process.
