One of my friends/coaches Tonya Leigh Williams has just posted a great write up on her Savoring Life blog about the Unresolution movement and what to do instead of setting the same old resolutions for the new year. I’ve been having a hard time choosing just one word of the year so the idea of three beacon words really resonated with me. In a sales position, the 4th quarter is always the busiest - the final push to close deals in time to count them in the current year, before the clients leave for holiday vacations. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. I am a Breast Cancer Survivor! Results are in, nodes and margins are clear! I saw the surgeon last Thursday and my oncologist yesterday and am pleased to report that my status is now considered "breast cancer survivor" and officially cancer-free since June 15th! This is clearly something huge to celebrate and you can bet that I am doing just that! Yesterday at Dana Farber. Despite the fact that this last week felt like several years all on it's own, I made it through.with flying colors (mostly red and purple! And they gave me this certificate to prove it! Tuesday, September 08, 2009. Important Things We have Learned from Our Westie. So our big news is that we're new parents! He's at the groomer for the first time today so we will see whether or not we recognize him when he comes home. I'm amazed at what things we can learn (or relearn! From animals. Here a few of the things we've learned from our wonderful Islay (EYE-la) Bear. Find a way to tell people what you need even if you don't speak their language. Don't settle for dry kibble. Live in the moment.
