http://habarikenya.blogspot.com/2006/04/pac-report-on-anglo-fleecinga.html
Nairobi politics, football, conspiracy theories and related propaganda. Wednesday, April 19, 2006. PAC REPORT ON ANGLO-FLEECING.a disappointment. Parliament formally adopted the report of the watchdog Public Accounts Committee, giving the Government the green light to investigate key figures in the Administration and to implement a raft of recommendations within two months. To quote The Nation. That would be high treason! Anyway that's besides the point. Mwiraria, Awori, Muthaura et al. No wonder the who...

Part of me feels like shutting the blog down once and for all. and I will in the near future but not before I deliever on my promise to write about my “back to Nairobi” experience. The one thing I must say is. Just like any city, the GOOD LIFE depends on the size of your pocket. There is nothing that is not in NAIROBI. And that about covers it all.

Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Snacks On A Plane. 8220;You choose the locomotion that you want! My boss bellowed as she waved me away and took an incoming call. I choose the locomotion I want? Oh come on. You are talking to a guy who doesn’t even make up his mind whether he needs to take the opaque lift, steep stairs or moving staircase when he is shopping at Nakumatt Lifestyle. The other day I even wondered loudly to a shop attendant why she couldn’t carry me upstairs in her arms. That was then. The now w...

kenya.....kritique: April 2006
http://habarikenya.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Nairobi politics, football, conspiracy theories and related propaganda. Thursday, April 27, 2006. MPs are just but thieves! Arliament is indeed a house of thieves! Blackmailed the govt into increasing. Their mileage allowance by well over 100%! To add insult ot injury, they voted to backdate the mileage claims. This means that each (dis)honourable member will walk away. With close to Sh890,000 arrears, costing the country an initial Sh198 million. Now they will receive from between Sh150 a kilometre.

A Diary of my Pursuit of Life ’s Best. This thing called life …. Memories Are Made of This. So, I’m a Toastmaster. In Kenya. Toastmasters is a club that teaches communication and leadership skills through a learn-by-doing approach. My latest speech project was The Roast. And I roasted my dad. It was great fun – I enjoyed being at the lectern and I managed to get him and the rest of my audience in stitches. I hope you’ll enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed crafting and delivering it! I also remember us ...

kenya.....kritique: The Aftermath
http://habarikenya.blogspot.com/2008/02/aftermath.html
Nairobi politics, football, conspiracy theories and related propaganda. Saturday, February 09, 2008. The crazy scenario we are in is not only depressing but bewildering. I want to pose a few questions. 1 who really won the elections? 2 If H.E Hon Mwai Kibaki did win (which i believe he did! Why should he share power with anyone? 3 If Raila is not power-hungry as he claims, then why not swallow that bitter pill and accept the inevitable. He will never be the president of this country! 9 Finally, kudos to ...

Nairobi politics, football, conspiracy theories and related propaganda. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. MAD-A-RAK DAY.patriotism growth rate= 5.8%. Economic growth of a splendid 5.8%, the "owners of kenya" are singing and dancing in jubilation at the "good times". Anyway, this mad-a-rak day, am constrained to admit that the patriotism levels for the kawaida kenyan are at par with the economic growth level - 5.8%! Where does this growth rate grow anyway? And not 5.8%. Had it been a common( define common anyway?
